How it Works

Get started with 3 easy steps.

Mail us your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer along with contact information, return mailing address and a description of the problems you are experiencing. Use a plain cardboard box with bubble wrap or peanuts as padding.

We will run a full battery of diagnostics that match your indicated problems and you will typically receive the computer repair diagnosis and a complete written repair estimate via email within 24 hours.

Approved repairs are typically completed within 3 to 5 working days and your “good-as-new” computer is promptly shipped back to you. You enjoy an updated and fully functioning repaired computer for less than the price of a new computer.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I have to pay all that money to ship my computer, is it really worth fixing?

Yes. We can almost always save you enough money for it to be worth the repair. Shipping less costly than you may realize.

What should I ship to you?

For desktops send the tower only. There’s no need to send accessories, cords, or monitors (screens). For notebooks and laptops, just send the computer and the AC adapter.

What is the turnaround time for mail-in computer repairs?

For most orders, 3-15 business days. In some cases, 2-4 weeks may be necessary for high-end notebooks and component level repairs. We will keep you posted and answer all of your questions during the process.

Do you work on Apple products?

Absolutely. One of the things we specialize in is Apple products. We can repair all Apple computers, such as the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, and iMac Pro, etc.

Do you work on Smartphones?

Yes, we can repair screens, replace batteries, and diagnose any other issues on any brand and model of smartphone. You will need to send us your phone and any access codes or passwords to access the device. Your information is not shared with anyone nor stored in our systems.

Do you work on netbooks? How about tablets?

What about game consoles and DVR devices?

We can perform data recoveries from some game consoles and DVR devices.

Can you repair laptop motherboards, or do you just replace them if faulty?

It depends. If a motherboard has multiple faulty components the we will replace it.

Should I pay to fix my computer when I can buy a new one for $500?

We can likely repair your laptop or desktop for much less than the cost of replacing it.

Who works on my computer?

Our technicians have decades of experience in hardware, software, networking, and all major operating systems.

Can I trust my system and data with you?

Absolutely! We are accredited with the Better Business Bureau. All of our procedures are completed in non-intrusive ways. As well, we do not store passwords or data on our systems. You should choose a carrier you trust to ship your items, though. A tracking number and package insurance are recommended.

Can you give me a quote over the phone without looking at my items?

Occasionally, yes. There are some issues that are obvious or systemic depending on the manufacturer or model. However, these are only estimates and we cannot know the exact cause of an issue until we diagnose your system in our shop.

What is a “desktop rebuild?”

Generally a computer is considered obsolete within five years of manufacture. However, most desktops are relatively inexpensive to upgrade. What we would do is overhaul your computer and replace the obsolete equipment, giving your machine the performance of a newer PC for a lower cost. Your existing data remains intact, along with your settings and installed programs.
